Technikart : La mode et le green sont-ils compatibles ?

Yolaine de la Bigne : Totalement compatibles. C’est un domaine où la mode doit faire un effort, la fabrication du textile est liée à l’agriculture, donc très polluante. A travers la mode, on peut toucher tout le monde.

Technikart : Qu’est-ce que vous avez de vert dans votre garde-robe ?

Yolaine de la Bigne : Des vêtements en coton bio. J’aimerais avoir plus de propositions d’habits faits en bambou, en chanvre et en lin.

Technikart : Quelle est pour vous la marque green par excellence ?

Yolaine de la Bigne : Je n’en ai pas encore, c’est trop prématuré. C’est le démarrage d’un marché qui est compliqué car il faut être sûr que tout soit green (le transport, la teinture, les conditions de travail…).

Technikart : Quel geste écologique avez-vous adopté ?

Yolaine de la Bigne : Je me déplace en vélo, je trie mes poubelles, je fais du compost, je préfère le train à l’avion, je recycle le papier, j’achète bio. Et surtout je fais du militantisme, toutes mes actions sont bénévoles.

Technikart : Votre vêtement fétiche ?

Yolaine de la Bigne : Une robe Agatha Ruiz De La Prada orange avec une énorme fleur rose.

Technikart : L’accessoire de mode que vous ne supportez pas ?

Yolaine de la Bigne : Le string qui dépasse du pantalon, ça manque d’élégance.

Technikart : Are fashion and the environment compatible ?

Yolaine de la Bigne : Totally compatible. It’s an area where fashion must make an effort, the production of textiles is linked to agriculture, so highly polluting. Through fashion, you can reach the whole world.

Technikart : What green fashion do you have in your wardrobe ?

Yolaine de la Bigne : Clothes made of organic cotton. I’d like to have a greater choice of clothes made out of bamboo, hemp and linen.

Technikart : For you, what is the most emblematic green label ?

Yolaine de la Bigne : It’s too soon to say. It’s early days for a complicated market, because you need to be sure that everything’s green (transport, dyes, working conditions…).

Technikart : What environmental habits have you adopted ?

Yolaine de la Bigne : I get around on my bike, I sort my rubbish, I have a compost bin, I prefer the train to the plane, I recycle paper, and I buy organic. And most importantly, I’m an activist, who works voluntarily.

Technikart : A favourite item in your wardrobe ?

Yolaine de la Bigne : An orange Agatha Ruiz De La Prada dress with a huge pink flower on the front.

Technikart : The fashion accessory you can’t stand ?

Yolaine de la Bigne : G-strings that show over the top of pants, it lacks in elegance.
